Iran Militarily Invincible: President

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic is so powerful that it is impossible to defeat it with military action, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said, pointing to the US’ admission that its policy of maximum pressure on Iran has ended in dismal failure.

Addressing the 7th General Assembly of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly in Tehran on Thursday, Raisi said it has been proven that the Islamic Republic is militarily unbeatable and has become a power that does not bow down to hegemony.

“The American authorities have officially confessed that their policy of maximum pressure has been humiliatingly defeated in the face of the Iranian nation’s resolve and has gone nowhere,” the president added.

Denouncing the cruel actions that the hegemonic powers have taken against the Iranian nation over the past 43 years, Raisi said the Islamic Republic has overcome all of those challenges as the world has acknowledged Iran’s righteousness, pursuit of justice, and sublime position.

He also said that the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, the Yemeni and Palestinian youth, and all forces of the resistance front have been inspired by Iran and are regarded as a strategic continuation of the Islamic Republic.

The Iranian military officials have repeatedly ruled out the possibility of a war against Iran, saying the enemy has become disappointed with military action on the Islamic Republic.

In comments in May, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said Iran’s enhanced military capabilities have made the enemies devoid of any option to wage a war on the country.
