Iran Loses to Poland at 2023 World Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran handball team lost to Poland 26-22 in Group I of the 2023 IHF Men's World Championship Sunday night.
Iran started the campaign with a win over Chile but suffered five losses in a row against Montenegro, Spain, Slovenia, France and Poland.
Team Melli will finish between the 22nd and 24th places in the current world championship.
It came 21st in the previous edition in 2015.
The 2023 IHF Men’s World Championship is being held in Poland and Sweden from January 11 to 29.
