Resistance Sole Way to Counter US: Iranian President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi described resistance as the only approach to dealing with the US’ threats.
The only way to stand against the threats posed by the US and its allies is resistance, the Iranian president said in a meeting with a group of Chinese intellectuals in Beijing on Wednesday.
Resistance will nullify the danger and turn the threat into an opportunity for progress, he added, warning that retreat from resistance will result in defeat.
Denouncing the attempts to promote phobia about Iran and China as an outcome of the hegemonic system’s fear of the growing power of independent states, President Raisi said unilateralism has no place in the future of the world.
The world has begun to reject unilateralism, as the measures adopted by the US and its allies in the region and the world to dominate the nations are condemned by the world’s public opinion, he added.
Raisi emphasized that closer interaction among the sovereign states would result in the exchange of capacities and the neutralization of sanctions and threats.
