Iran’s Firouzpour Bags Bronze at Egypt Wrestling Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Freestyler Amir Hossein Firouzpour of Iran claimed a bronze medal Saturday night in the Ibrahim Moustafa wrestling tournament in Egypt.
He defeated Ukraine’s Murazi Mchedlidze 7-0 in the bronze medal match of 97kg.
Batyrbek Tcakulov of Slovakia won the gold medal in weight class, beating Poland’s Zbigniew Baranowski 7-1 in the final.
The Ibrahim Moustafa tournament is the second Ranking Series event this year held on February 23-26 in Alexandria, Egypt.
The first Ranking Series was held in Zagreb, Croatia from February 1 to 5.
