Iran Wins Three Medals at Asia Pacific Chess C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Three Iranian players won medals at the 1st Asia Pacific Deaf Rapid Chess Championship.
In the men's division, Iran’s Armin Rahmatpour won the gold medal and the silver medal went to his compatriot Pouria Jamali.
The bronze medal was won by Jordan’s Daoud Mohammad.
In the women’s rapid division, Nayyer Golizadeh of Iran seized a gold medal.
The competition began in Amman, Jordan on February 21 and will run until February 28.
