Top Iranian, Azeri Diplomats Agree to Meet
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign ministers of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan agreed to continue consultations and hold meetings in the capitals of the two neighbors.
In a telephone conversation on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov talked about the latest developments in the relations between the two countries.
They emphasized the need to carry out the previous bilateral agreements and agreed to pursue plans for ministerial meetings in Tehran and Baku.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s website, the two senior diplomats called for continued consultations between the Iranian and Azeri authorities in the “constructive conversation”.
