Muslim Countries’ Concerted Action to Avert Zionist Aggression: Iranian President


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi highlighted the effective role of cooperation and joint action by Muslim countries in deterring the Zionist regime’s atrocities and protecting the rights of Palestinians.

In a telephone conversation with Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tariq Al Saeed on Wednesday, Raisi congratulated the government and nation of Oman on Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, in advance.

He highlighted the special place of relations with Oman in Iran's foreign policy and the implementation of agreements between the two countries.

Condemning the Zionist regime’s acts of aggression and barbaric crimes against the defenseless people of Palestine in the holy month of Ramadan, the president said, "Without a doubt, the cooperation, coordination and like-mindedness of all Islamic countries will be effective in deterring the aggression of the Zionists and realizing the legal rights of the Palestinian nation."

For his part, Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq expressed satisfaction with the level of Oman’s relations with Iran, emphasizing the need to implement the agreements between the two countries.

The Omani sultan also condemned the actions of the Zionist regime in desecrating the Al-Aqsa Mosque and said, "We insist on the issue of Palestine until the realization of the legal rights of the Palestinians.”
