Israeli Military Raid Kills Palestinian in West Bank Refugee Camp
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli soldiers conducted a military raid on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp southwest of Jericho on Monday, resulting in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to three others, according to Palestinian and Israeli sources.
The governor of Jericho, Jehad Abu al-Aksa, identified the deceased as Suleiman Ayyesh and said the Israeli soldiers were refusing to hand over his body to the Palestinians.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli forces raided several homes, searching for Palestinians suspected of being involved in military actions against the Israeli regime, leading to clashes between Palestinians and soldiers.
Since January, Israeli military raids on Palestinian towns, villages, and refugee camps have resulted in the deaths of about 100 Palestinians.
