Persepolis Edges Paykan in IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team edged past Paykan 1-0 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) Matchday 28 on Saturday.
Mehdi Torabi scored the solitary goal of the match from the penalty spot in the 80th minute in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Persepolis remained top of the table with 60 points, one point above Sepahan.
In Ghaemshahr, Nassaji was held to a 1-1 draw by Havadar and Gol Gohar lost its home game 1-0 to Aluminum in Sirjan.
