Iran Beats Singapore at 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's Asia SFs
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran booked its place in the final match of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's Asia and Oceania Championship, beating Singapore 3-0 on Saturday.
Team Melli Banovan defeated the UAE 14-0 on Thursday.
Iran had also defeated India 17-1, Kuwait 20-0, Kyrgyzstan 26-0 and the UAE 14-0 in its previous matches.
Iran will meet Thailand in the final on Sunday.
The IIHF Asia and Oceania Championship (formally the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia) is a series of international ice hockey tournaments in the continent of Asia.
The event started on April 30 in Bangkok, Thailand and will finish on May 7.
