Iran Linked with Turkish Basketball Coach Demir: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Basketball Federation has reportedly made an offer to hire Hakan Demir as the National Team head coach.
Iran is going to part ways with Saeid Armaghani and Turkish media have reported that the Persians have negotiated with Demir.
The 55-year-old Turkish coach has most recently worked as head coach in Manisa basketball team.
Iran's basketball team has been drawn in Group G along with Spain, Ivory Coast and Brazil in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
