Shahdab Routs Taichung Bank at 2023 Asian Club Volleyball Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahdab Yazd of Iran defeated Taiwanese Taichung Bank 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-20) in the 2023 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship on Tuesday.

Shahdab had defeated South Gas of Iraq and Afghanistan’s Kam Air in Group B.

The Iranian team will meet the second-place Group D team in Pool F on Thursday.

Pool A consists of Bahrain, South Korea, Australia, and Indonesian teams.

Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, and Yemen are in Group C and Kazakhstan, Qatar, Hong Kong, and Kuwait teams are drawn in Pool D.

The 23rd Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship is being held in Manama, Bahrain, from May 14 to 21, and Shahdab Yazd is representing Iran in this competition.

The champion will advance to the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
