Iran to Launch Chamber of Commerce in Russia: Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on Friday announced that the country’s Chamber of Commerce will be set up in the Russian Federation by yearend.
Turning to a bylaw approved for launching five chambers of commerce in other countries, Gholamhossein Shafei stated that priority has been given to set up chamber of commerce in Russia and it is hoped that the chamber will be established by the end of the current year.
Heading a high-ranking economic delegation to attend International Economic Forum dubbed “Kazan Forum 2023” in Tatarstan, Shafei emphasized that constructive participation with neighbors to materializing the sustainable order based on collective security and supporting the development of regional countries through the establishment of mutual economic links is the main principle approach of the Islamic Republic.
Turning to the amicable and friendly relations between economic activists of Iran and Russia private sectors, he noted, “We believe that regional countries, relying upon their common culture and history, can make their future in the best form possible.”
Under the current circumstances, existence of high economic capabilities between Iran and Republic of Tatarstan in various fields can layout the deep chamges for the development of all-out economic ties, he emphasized.
Economic activists of the two countries of Iran and Russia have shown vehement interest to develop bilateral ties in relevant field, Shafei continued.
The chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, for this turn, expressed hope that holding Kazan Business Forum 2023 would help expand bilateral trade between Iran and Tatarstan.
Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Tatarstan have high potentials for the development of bilateral trade, Ageev added.
