Shahdab to Face Suntory at 2023 Asian Club Volleyball Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian volleyball club Shahdab Yazd will meet Suntory Sunbirds of Japan in the semifinal round of the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship.
The match will be held on Saturday at Isa Bin Rashid Hall 1 in Manama, Bahrain.
Shahdab lost to Qatari giant Police 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12) the quarterfinals Pool F on Friday.
Police’s Petar Dirlic scored a team-high 26 points and team-mate Nikola Vasic added 17 points to the team’s tally. Amir Ghafour led Shahdab Yazd with 18 points including 17 attacks.
Police will play Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in another semifinals.
