Shahdab Earns Second Win at 2023 Asian Club Volleyball Championship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahdab Yazd of Iran swept past Afghanistan’s Kam Air (25-17, 25-21, 25-18) in the 2023 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship on Monday.

Shahdab will meet Taiwanese Taichung Bank in Group B on Tuesday.

Shahdab had defeated South Gas of Iraq in its first match.

Pool A consists of Bahrain, South Korea, Australia, and Indonesian teams.

Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, and Yemen are in Group C and Kazakhstan, Qatar, Hong Kong, and Kuwait teams are drawn in Pool D.

The 23rd Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship is being held in Manama, Bahrain, from May 14 to 21, and Shahdab Yazd is representing Iran in this competition.

The champion will advance to the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
