Iran’s Molaei Wins Silver at Grand Moscow Regatta
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Nazanin Molaei claimed a silver medal in the 62nd edition of the Grand Moscow Regatta at the rowing course in Krylatskoye in the Russian capital.
She finished in second place at the Women's Lightweight Single Sculls with a time of 8:22.900.
The gold medal went to the Russian rower and the Belarusian athlete snatched the bronze.
More than 1,300 athletes from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Iran and Armenia are taking part in the event.
This time the Grand Moscow Regatta is marking the 85th anniversary of three-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Ivanov.
