2023 Para Athletics World Championships: Khosravani Takes Silver
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Amir Khosravani won a silver medal at the Paris 2023 Para Athletics World Championships on Wednesday.
Khosravani won silver with 7.26 meters at the Men's Long Jump T12 Final.
Uzbekistan’s Doniyor Saliev with 7.47 and Azerbaijan’s Saeid Najafzadeh with 7.11 won gold and bronze, respectively.
On Tuesday, Iranian shot putter Rashid Masjedi had claimed a gold at the competition.
A total of 1,300 athletes from 107 countries compete across 168 medal events in the 2024 Paralympic host city one year before the Games.
