Iran into 2023 FIVB U-21 World Championship Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Argentina 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-20) Saturday night in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship semifinals.
Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh scored 25 points for Iran in the match, while Argentina’s Lucas Conde scored 16 points.
Iran had defeated Thailand (twice), Tunisia, Bahrain, Poland and Argentina in its previous matches.
Defending champion Italy also beat Bulgaria 3-1 in the other semifinal match.
Iran will play Italy in the final match on Sunday.
