Iran to Play Argentina at 2023 FIVB U-21 World Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Bulgaria 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25–22, 25-23) Thursday night in Pool E of the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship.
Iran’s Amir Mohammad Golzadeh collected 21 points and Bulgaria’s Aleksandar Nikolov scored 23 points.
Iran, who had defeated Thailand (twice), Tunisia, Bahrain and Poland in its previous matches, will play Argentina on Saturday in the 2023 FIVB U-21 World Championship semifinals.
Defending champion Italy will also meet Bulgaria in another semifinals.
