'Promoting Export' Main Policy of Iran’s Administration: Official


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The deputy chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce for logistics, planning and research affairs said that expansion of export and export activities is the main approach of the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi.

Ali Motiejahani said the presence of foreign trade delegations in Iran, holding exhibitions and observing the quality of industrial-production goods will lead to the promotion of exports.

Speaking on the sidelines of 12th Elevators and Escalators Exhibition dubbed “Iran LIFTEX 2023” on Monday, he reiterated that the promotion of exports to various countries in the world is the main approach taken by the incumbent administration.

In this regard, incentives and exports policies have been presented, he said, adding that holding exhibitions with the participation of trade delegations will be in favor of the country’s exports.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Motiejahani pointed to the quality of Iranian products that are capable of competing in the global market qualitatively and quantitatively.

“We will throw our weight behind industrialists and industrial activists in line with removing the existing problems and easing exports.”

Turning to the presence of foreign trade delegations at the exhibition, he said trade and economic delegations from countries including Pakistan, Iraq, the Iraqi Kurdistan region (KRG), Afghanistan and Oman visited the latest achievements of Iranian elevator and escalator industry.

The 12th Elevators, Escalators Exhibition dubbed “Iran LIFTEX 2023” kicked off on July 14 and concluded its work on July 17.
