Pataveh-Dehdasht Road to Be Inaugurated Tomorrow

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - As part of the road route along the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) connecting south-west of Iran to the center, the Pataveh-Dehdasht Road will be inaugurated on Tuesday.

Construction of the main road stretching from Pataveh to Dehdasht in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province with the length of 136 km has been completed and it will be inaugurated tomorrow in the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi and Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash.

This route is in four parts at the center of Iran and is part of the INSTC.

The construction operation of this giant project has cost 95 trillion IRR.

The Pataveh-Dehdasht Road passes through the Zagros mountain region and will reduce the distance between Pataveh and Behbahan by about 65 km compared to the existing route.

With the completion of this road, more than 400 villages in underprivileged areas along Patavah to Dehdasht will find better access to the provincial capital and other cities.

In this project, 12 tunnels, 5 galleries and 13 bridges have been built. Through this shortcut road, the southwestern provinces of Iran, including Khuzestan, will be connected to the central provinces.
