Iran’s Kaeidi Takes Bronze at 2023 Para Athletics Worlds
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hadi Kaeidi from Iran won a bronze medal at the 2023 Para Athletics World Championships on Monday.
He came third with a throw of 11.35 meters in the Men's Shot Put F34.
The gold medal went to Jordan’s Ahmad Hindi with 11.69 meters and Colombian Mauricio Valencia claimed a silver medal with 11.68 meters.
Iranian shot putters Mehdi Olad, Rashid Masjedi and Yasin Khosravi as well as Javelin thrower Saeid Afroozat had previously won four gold medals in the competitions.
Long jumper Amir Khosravani, javelin thrower Ali Prouj, Olad (discus throw) and Elham Salehi had also claimed four silver medals and javelin thrower Hashemieh Motaghian seized a bronze.
