Iran Produces 166,000 Tons of Aluminum Ingot in Three Months
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran produced 166,000 tons of aluminum ingot in the first three months of the current Persian calendar year ( March 21 to June 22, 2023), showing a 9% growth compared to the predefined program, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization said.
According to the report, four major aluminum ingot production companies of Iran managed to produce 166,986 tons of aluminum ingot from March 21 to June 22, 2023.
About 172,726 tons of aluminum ingot were produced from March 21 to June 22, 2022.
Iran Alumina Production Company produced 61,987 tons of alumina powder in the first quarter of the current year, registering a one percent decrease compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
Some 62,291 tons of alumina powder had been produced in the first three months of the previous Iranian calendar year.
