Oman Pressing for Iran’s Engagement in Int’l Cooperation
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Oman said his country has put efforts into facilitating Iran’s involvement in the process of regional and international cooperation.
In a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart on Tuesday, Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi referred to the recent talks between Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
He also underlined Oman's efforts to facilitate regional and international cooperation with the active participation of Iran.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian appreciated Oman’s efforts to pursue the development process and the all-out expansion of ties between the two neighbors.
The senior diplomats then reviewed the latest bilateral ties and consulted on the follow-ups regarding the implementation of agreements between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry’s website reported.
They also held consultations on a series of issues of mutual interest at the bilateral, regional and international levels.
