Leader Praises Young Iranian Wrestlers on Winning World Title
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei appreciated the Iranian U-20 freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers for their stellar performance at the world championship in Jordan.
In a message on Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei thanked the freestyle and youth Greco-Roman national wrestling teams of the Islamic Republic of Iran for their victories in the World Wrestling Championships.

Iranian U-20 Greco-Roman wrestlers claimed three gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze to win the team title of the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Amman, Jordan.
Earlier, Iran’s freestyle team won the title with 165 points, followed by the US and India with 152 and 102 points, respectively.
