Iran Blind Football Defeats Italy at 2023 IBSA World Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s blind football team defeated Italy at the 2023 IBSA World Games on Wednesday.
The match finished 1-1 in regular time and Team Melli won the game 3-2 in penalty shootout.
Iran has lost to Brazil and Colombia and defeated Morocco and Italy in the competition. It was also held to a 1-1 draw by Mexico.
The football competition is being held at the Bournbrook 3G pitch (Birmingham University Campus) in Birmingham, England.
