80 Million Tons of Non-Oil Products Exported from Hormozgan Ports in Two Years: PMO


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The director general of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran’s Hormozgan province said more than 80 million tons of non-oil products were exported from ports of this province since the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi assumed office in August 2021.

Elaborating on the measures taken by the provincial Ports and Maritime Organization in the current administration on the occasion of “Government Week”, Hossein Abbasnejad said more than 13 million tons of goods were transited from ports of this southern province.

He put the volume of oil and non-oil products loaded and unloaded in this period at more than 193 million tons.

Abbasnejad also highlighted the loading and unloading operations of more than 125 million tons of non-oil goods in ports of this province over the past two years.

In this period, more than 68 million tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded in ports of this province, he added.

Over 4 million (TEU) containerized goods have been loaded and unloaded at ports of Hormozgan province during the current administration, he stated.
