Hajimousaei, Zandi Win Gold, Silver at 2023 WT Taekwondo Grand Prix
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian athletes Mahdi Hajimousaei and Abolfazl Zandi claimed a gold and a silver medal on the first day of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Paris.
Hajimousaei defeated his compatriot Zandi in the men’s -58kg final to win the gold medal.
Austrian Bailey Lewis and Tunisia’s Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi won bronze medals.
A total of 255 participants from 59 countries compete at the event in Paris.
