Iran’s Hajimousaei Seizes Silver at 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehdi Hajimousaei of Iran claimed a silver medal on the Day 2 of the Roma 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix.
He lost to Spain’s Adrian Vicente Yunta 2-1 in the men’s -58kg final.
His compatriot Abolfazl Zandi also won a bronze medal in the category.
Iran’s Nahid Kiani had previously won a silver medal in the women’s -57kg.
The opening Grand Prix of the year is due to conclude on Sunday with the women's under-49kg and men's under-80kg events.
