2023-24 ACL: Persepolis to Face Al Nassr at Azadi Stadium
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team of Iran will host Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League.
The Iranian media had previously reported that Persepolis will likely face Al Nassr in the UAE or Qatar but the AFC has released the Matchweek 1 fixtures, in which Persepolis will have to host its rival at home.
The match is scheduled for September 19 in Group E.
Persepolis will travel to Doha on October 2 to play Al Duhail at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium and meet Tajikistan’s Istiklol on October 24 at the Azadi Stadium.
