UK Exports to Iran Hits $40 Million in 7 Months
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The United Kingdom exported $40 million worth of non-oil products to Iran in the seven months of 2023, showing a 14-percent growth compared to last year’s corresponding period.
The UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in its latest report said that trade exchanges between the country and Iran from January to July 2023 reached £44 million ($53 million).
The trade exchanges between Iran and the UK from January to July 2023 registered a 10 percent growth compared to last year’s corresponding period, it added.
The two countries had exchanged over £40 million worth of non-oil products from January to July 2022.
It also said the UK imported £11 million ($13 million) worth of non-oil products from Iran in the first seven months of the current year, which shows no significant change compared to the same period last year.
The UK export of products to Iran from January to July 2023 reached £33 million ($40 million ), showing a 14 percent hike.
According to the report, the UK had exported £29 million worth of non-oil products to Iran from January to July 2022.
