TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian army's artillery has launched significant rocket and mortar attacks on the bases of the terrorist group responsible for the drone attack on Homs.

In a strong response, violent artillery and missile bombardment by the Syrian Arab Army targeted gatherings of "Al-Nusra" terrorists in Sarmin Efes Al-Nairab, situated east of Idlib and west of Saraqib.

The Syrian Arab Army also targeted gatherings of "Al-Nusra" terrorists in the city of Darat Azza, west of Aleppo, with heavy artillery and rocket launchers, resulting in deaths and injuries among the militants.

Al Mayadeen TV reports that the drones used in the attack were part of a new shipment delivered from France three months ago, intended for mercenaries associated with the Turkistan Islamic Party, an extremist organization allied with the terrorist group Al-Nusra Front, also known as Front for the Conquest of the Levant.

These drones were deployed in the mountainous regions of Latakia and Idlib in Syria, which share a border with Turkey. Additionally, militants from Kataib al-Mahajireen received drones, further supporting Al-Nusra Front.
