Iran to Play Two Friendlies Ahead of AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s football team will play two friendly matches as part of preparation for the AFC Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The qualifiers will be held in Perth, Australia from October 26 to November 1.

Iran has been drawn along with Australia, Chinese Taipei, and the Philippines in the second round of the Tournament.

Team Melli Banovan will play Iranian clubs Khatoon Bam and Malavan.

The warm-up matches will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Iran is 63rd in the world and 12th in the AFC rankings.
