Vahid Amiri Likely to Miss Rest of 2023 AFC Asian Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis international midfielder Vahid Amiri will likely miss the rest of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup due to a hamstring injury.
He sustained the injury in the match against Tajikistan’s Istiklol in the 2023-24 AFC Champions League on Tuesday.
Amiri came off the bench in the 68th minute and was forced to leave the field in the 79th minute.
He has been sidelined for at least one month.
Amiri is suffering from back and foot injuries in recent years.
