Iran to Meet Morocco at 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup Round of 16
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football team will play Morocco at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup knockout phase on Tuesday.
Iran Beat New Caledonia 5-0 on Friday.
Amir Mohammad Razaghinia scored two goals in 17th and 34th minutes at the Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung, Indonesia.
Reza Ghandipour made it 3-0 in the 76th minute. Amir Hossein Askari and Kasra Taheri scored two more goals in injury time.
Iran defeated Brazil 3-2 and lost to England 2-1 in Group C.
Hossein Abdi's team finished third in the group after England and Brazil.
