Yemeni Forces Vow to Resume Operations Against Israeli Targets as Truce Expires

The statement was released late on Thursday, just hours before the expiration of a temporary truce between the Palestinian resistance movement and the Israeli regime on Friday morning.

The statement, aligning with the directives of the leader of the Anasrullah resistance movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and responding to calls from the Yemeni nation, as well as Arabs and Muslims, emphasizes the full preparedness of Yemeni forces to recommence military operations against the Israeli enemy if aggression against Gaza resumes.

Yemeni troops are prepared to broaden their attacks against Israeli targets, extending to the Zionist regime's interests in the occupied territories and at sea. The statement reiterates that military operations will cease once the Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza completely stops.

The Yemeni Armed Forces, as previously declared, will persist in preventing Israeli vessels from cruising in the Red Sea waters and will take additional measures to ensure the effective implementation of this step. The statement also calls on Muslim nations and people worldwide to support Palestinians in their liberation struggle.

Since Israel initiated its military attack on Gaza, Yemeni forces have conducted various operations against the occupation regime. These operations include firing ballistic and cruise missiles on occupied territories and capturing at least three Israeli ships sailing in Yemen's waters.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 in response to the surprise al-Aqsa Storm operation by the Palestinian resistance movements. This operation was a reaction to the Israeli regime’s decades-long campaign of violence and devastation against Palestinians.

The Israeli aggression has resulted in the deaths of more than 15,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.
