Iran’s Qazvin Exports 9,700 Tons of Agricultural Products This Year: Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Some 9,700 tons of agricultural products have been exported from Iran’s Qazvin province overseas since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2023), the director of the provincial Agricultural Organization said.
The agricultural products exported from this province included raisins, grapes, peaches, nectarine, lettuce, celery and cabbage, he said.
They were exported to Russia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, he added.
It is predicted that the export of agricultural products from this province will increase to 12,000 tons by the yearend, Yousef Derakhshan stated, Mehr News Agency reported.
Some 85 percent of the agricultural products in this province were exported to Russia in the current year, he added.
