Gang of Forgers Broken Up in Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Police forces have disbanded a gang of forgers that sold fake passports and visas for entry into 25 foreign countries.
The commander of the Iranian Airports Police Department said 12 gang members involved in the forgery of passports and visas have been arrested in Iran.
The criminals sold fake passports and visas with the stamps and seals of various domestic and foreign organizations to people traveling to 25 countries, General Mohsen Aqili told Tasnim.
A number of people that had departed from Iran with the forged passports and visas were identified at the airports of the intended destinations and deported to Iran, the commander said.
