Harsh Countdown Awaits, Iran Warns Israel
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Iran cautioned the Zionist regime to brace itself for a revenge for the martyrdom of Iranian military adviser General Seyed Razi Mousavi in Syria.
In a post on his X account on Tuesday, Hossein Amirabdollahian offered condolences on the martyrdom of General Mousavi, an IRGC adviser who was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike in the residential neighborhood of Zeinabiyah district in the suburbs of Damascus on Monday.
“The revered martyr (Mousavi) fought valiantly along with martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani for years against terrorists to ensure security in Iran and the region,” the foreign minister stated.
“Tel Aviv should wait for a tough countdown”, Amirabdollahian said, alluding to revenge for the Israeli crime.
