Branko Ivankovic Refuses to Lead Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Branko Ivankovic is not interested in returning to Iran’s Persepolis football club.
Media outlets had reported that the Croat will replace Yahya Golmohammadi in the Iranian giant.
Ivankovic currently leads the Oman national team and his team is ready to shine in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The Croat, who is very popular among the Persepolis fans, has sent a message to the club and said he is not ready to return to his former club.
Persepolis must find another replacement for the vacant seat after parting ways with Golmohammadi in early January.
