Brazilian Osmar Loss Nominated to Lead Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Osmar Loss Vieira has reportedly been shortlisted to lead Iran’s Persepolis football team.
The Brazilian coach was appointed as Persepolis' assistant coach in July 2022 and helped the team win the Iran league last season.
Yahya Golmohammadi stepped down from his role as head coach of Persepolis in early January and the Iranian club is going to find a replacement for him.
Persepolis negotiated with Oman coach Branko Ivankovic but the Croatian coach has not yet accepted to lead the team.
Media reports suggest that Osmar is a candidate to lead Persepolis until the end of the season.
