Israeli Forces Continue Strikes in Khan Younis, Northern Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Israeli military continued with its attacks from the air, sea and land throughout the Gaza Strip.
Israeli fighter jets targeted several Gaza infrastructures in Khan Younis, as the Palestinian Health Ministry reported at least 92 casualties in overnight Israeli attacks.
Al Jazeera Arabic reported an Israeli strike in Deir el-Balah. Wafa news agency earlier stated that Israeli warplanes struck agricultural land near Jafraawi, south of Deir el-Balah.
Human Rights Watch noted Israel's destruction of farmland contributes to using starvation as a weapon of war in Gaza.
In Rafah, 1.9 million displaced Palestinians face an intense Israeli bombing, hitting residential and public structures. Debris and shrapnel fell on tents to the east of Rafah due to residential building bombings, causing casualties.
Tragically, shrapnel struck a kindergarten in Rafah, killing two little girls. Many were critically injured or killed by relentless artillery shelling and air strikes since last night.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reports at least 92 killed, including in the Rafah kindergarten. Mourners prayed outside a hospital as residents shared harrowing experiences.
With concerns over a potential Israeli ground incursion, displaced Gazans seek refuge in makeshift shelters and camps.
The Palestinian Health Ministry disclosed a total of 27,365 Palestinians killed and 66,630 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. In the last 24 hours alone, almost 130 have died.
Additionally, at least 382 people have been killed in Israeli army and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank.
