Doha Hosts 6th Iran-Qatar Joint Cooperation Committee
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The 6th edition of the Iran-Qatar Joint Cooperation Commission between Iran’s Ministry of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare and Qatari Ministry of Labor was held in Doha on Saturday.
It was held with the participation of Iran’s Minister of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Sowlat Mortazavi and Qatari Minister of Labor Ali bin Samikh Al Marri.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views regarding the development of technical-vocational cooperation and dispatching and empowering instructors in the field.
Facilitating the dispatch of skilled Iranian laborers and engineers to Qatar, conducting joint trips between Iranian and Qatari labor inspectors to exchange experiences and setting up a joint committee in the fields of labor and employment were among the main topics discussed at the meeting, Mehr news agency reported.
The Iranian and Qatari labor officials emphasized the practical implementation of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) inked between the two countries.
In addition, they vowed to take effective measures in line with implementing the cooperation agreements inked between the two sides.
