Iranian, Lebanese Economic Activists Stress Expanding Trade Ties

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Economic activists and entrepreneurs from Iran and Lebanon emphasized the expansion of bilateral ties in the fields of trade and economy.

Iran’s Embassy in Beirut hosted an economic forum entitled “Iran Economy” with the participation of a large number of Iranian and Lebanese businesspersons.

In this meeting, the economic activists and merchants of the two countries discussed the existing challenges facing them and presented solutions for strengthening the trade and economic ties between the two countries.

In the forum, which was attended by 80 Iranian and Lebanese merchants, the economic activists expressed interest in strengthening the trade and economic ties.

Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani, Adviser to Iran’s First Vice President Sheikh Javad Mehrabi and Chairman of the Iran-Lebanon Joint Chamber of Commerce Abbas Fawaz delivered lectures in the forum.

It was emphasized that the Iran-Lebanon Joint Chamber of Commerce has a high capacity for the expansion of trade-economic relations between the two countries.

The chamber was urged to play a leading role in introducing investment and trade opportunities to the economic activists of the two countries.
