Regional Situation Changed after Iran’s Anti-Israeli Operation: Top General
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said the country’s retaliatory ‘True Promise’ operation against the Israeli regime has transformed the regional conditions.
“The regional situation has changed ... after the Islamic Republic of Iran’s retaliatory and punitive measure against the Zionist regime’s sensitive sites and military base,” the top commander said at the National Defense University of Iran on Tuesday.
Hailing the Iranian armed forces for giving a decisive response to the Zionist regime’s crimes by conducting the True Promise Operation, the general said, “This response was given by displaying the national determination against the (Israeli) regime and had strategic impacts at the regional and global levels, by God’s grace.”
In a meeting with top military commanders on Sunday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei admired the Iranian Armed Forces for manifesting the country’s power and determination in the international arena by conducting the recent operation against the Israeli regime.
In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched a wave of cruise and ballistic missiles and drones against military targets in the occupied territories in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s April 1 airstrike that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.
