Army Officer, 3 Terrorists Killed in Clash in SW Pakistan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A military officer leading an offensive against terrorists and three militants were killed in a clash in Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan province on Tuesday, the Pakistani army said in a statement.
The incident happened in the Zhob district of the province where the clash was triggered in response to an intelligence-based operation conducted by the security forces, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army said in the statement, Xinhua reported.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.
A clearance operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, the statement said.
