IMIDRO Saves $838 Million by Indigenizing Mining, Mineral Equipment
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The adviser to the chief executive of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) said that the country saved $838 million by indigenizing parts and equipment used in the mining and mineral sector last year (ended March 19, 2024).
Hassan Younesian said that giant steps were taken at the organization for indigenizing the parts and equipment in this sector.
He further pointed out that 19 companies in the mining and mineral sector participated in this comprehensive planning, ANA reported.
Every year, IMIDRO pursues an effective plan to save foreign currency through indigenizing parts, equipment and machinery of the mining and mineral sector.
