Iran’s Pirjahan Wins Gold at 4th MoC Grand Prix


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehdi Pirjahan of Iran claimed a gold medal in the 4th MoC Grand Prix in Lagos, Nigeria.

Pirjahan came first in the men’s 400m Hurdle with a time of 50.39s.

Nigerian runners Gbenga Bakre and Sodiq Adebisi won the silver and bronze medals with 52.52s and 52.93s, respectively.

Discus thrower Hossein Rasouli and shot putter Mehdi Saberi had earlier won two gold medals for Iran in the Grand Prix.
