Iran to Play Samoa in FIBA U-18 Women's Asia Cup Third-Place Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will play Samoa on Sunday in the FIBA U-18 Women's Asia Cup Division B third-place match.
Iran defeated Chinese Taipei, Kyrgyzstan and Samoa in the preliminary stage but lost to Lebanon 64-49 in the semifinals Saturday morning.
The Philippines also defeated Samoa 71-47 in another semifinals.
The Philippines and Lebanon will play in the final on Sunday.
The winner will advance to Division A.
The competition is being held in Shenzhen, China.
