Iranian Sprinters Taftian, Fasihi Secure 2024 Olympic Spots


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hassan Taftian and Farzaneh Fasihi have both been confirmed to take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Taftian and Fasihi qualified for the Olympics through IAAF World Rankings.

The sprinters represented Iran at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo as well.

Fasihi competed in the women’s 100 meters and Taftain participated in the men’s 100 meters.

Athletics at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from August 1 to 11, featuring a total of 48 medal events across three distinct sets.
